Candida symptoms can be seen throughout your system in places like your stomach, your small and large intestines, and also in your reproductive system if you’re female. With the yeast growing, it causes you to want to eat things that will continue to nourish it, creating a vicious cycle that is hard to get out of. But armed with a few candida remedies, you can break the cycle and regain your health.

Candida: Curing Yeast Infection

if you have a candida yeast infection here is how to treat it. (or any yeast infection), you may already have the best treatment for it, at home, in your refrigerator. You can use plain yogurt - you can eat it, apply it externally, or apply it internally; you can even do all three and should have great immediate relief. You should make sure the food contains live cultures because these fight against the bacteria while foods than contain starch, gelatin or sweeteners cause the yeast to grow. Do not waste your money on over the counter yeast infection treatments. Eventually, this leads to resistance of the bacteria, which makes them harder to kill. A good addition to your daily routine is yogurt/live bacteria pills, or supplemental acidophilus or bifudus. Another effective remedy consists of tea tree oil suppositories, although they can be hard to find. Echinacea and liquid chlorophyll boost the immune system; this will also increase your resistance to yeast infections.

Getting Rid of Mold: If you’re battling yeast overgrowth, you’re also bound to have mold problems. Clothes or linens should be very dry when you remove them from the dryer, and when reusing hand towels or rags, be sure that they have a lot of air circulating around them so that mold will not grow. Since it is possible for mold to survive a normal wash cycle, add borax, and use very hot water if at all possible. Also look into pillowcases designed to prevent dust mites.

Please try to take in more or some of these anti-candidal foods into your diet: garlic and onions cinnamon, broccoli, and cabbage. First thing in the morning, add two tablespoons of lemon juice plus ½ teaspoon of baking soda to a half glass of water and drink. This can fight candida by helping balance your pH.

Candida diet/Candida cleanse: This is the most important thing you can do to eradicate yeast overgrowth. Although it is not easy, it is important. For three weeks, avoid foods that feed the yeast. Sugar and anything sweet falls under this. (artificial sweeteners are okay), yeast, non-whole grains, alcohol, anything fermented (soy sauce, vinegars), and anything containing mold (such as cheese). Temporarily you need to restrict your diet to meat, seeds, nuts, vegetables, whole grains, tea and water. Think outside of the box when shopping because you’ll need to incorporate some new foods to replace the ones you can’t have. Keep in mind that while this diets lasts for just three weeks, you should at least partially embrace it as your new lifestyle. This is very important, for if you go right back to consuming large amounts of sugars and starches, the candida will come back and your health will waver.
