Years ago, quality treatment for acne was hard to find but over time, scientists have formulated a number of excellent solutions to include Accutane. Although acne is caused by various reasons, Accutane acne no more pills can help in most cases, whether the acne is moderate to severe. As you can imagine, this results in cleaner, healthier looking skin and better self-confidence.

Keep in mind that acne is generally related to hormones in both men and women. For instance, teenagers will struggle from acne during puberty when hormones are raging while adults get acne because of oil gland maturation. As people mature, acne can also become worse. Of course, acne also worsens due to diet, weather, and even personal hygiene. Even though acne can be devastating, Accutane pills can help.

What happens with adult acne treatments is that hormones can cause excessive oil, causing flare-ups. Of course, in addition to taking medication such as Accutane pills, you should also keep your skin clean and eat a diet with less fat. Accutane for acne works amazingly well, usually in about four to six months time. Remember that this medication is strong but generally effective regardless of the type of acne, something not all acne medications do.

In most cases, doctors will offer a less potent solution to see if they work but if they fail then Accutane is often prescribed. Again, while some doctors offer Accutane pills for moderate acne cured and with good results, it is most beneficial when provided for severe, scarring type acne. In addition, doctors use Accutane for some patients who have been on antibiotics but without any result.

As with any type of medication, Accutane pills for acne do present some side effects but in most cases, these are not disruptive. Because of its safety record, today more than two million people with acne have been treated with this particular drug. Interestingly, Accutane is actually a naturally occurring derivative of Vitamin A. For this reason, doctors may start a person with acne out with large doses of Vitamin A first. However, a buildup of this vitamin in the tissue can also be harmful. Most importantly, if you have acne, having been prescribed Accutane, it is important that you do not supplement with Vitamin A.

Studies show that Accutane pills for acne eliminate the problem in about 50% of cases. It is common for individuals in the first week or two to have a severe outbreak of acne before the skin gets better. Additionally, most people will go through dryness, which is why using an approved facial moisturizer is so important. Many times, teenagers with severe acne will go on Accutane during the summer months so they do not have to deal with an embarrassing outbreak during school time. Although not for everyone, if you have moderate to severe acne and want relief, talk to your doctor about the benefits of Accutane to see if this is the right solution.
