It can appear as a heart attack or an oppsessive compulsive behavior. These attacks can interupt your college studies, business activities or relationships with those you love. It is so important to stop anxiety attacks in the first stage of the illness and not let it escalate into something more serious.
Anxiety symptoms will quite often include exaggerating problems or constant worrying, easily agitated, being unreasonable, headaches, stomach aches and chest pains. Going through stressful situations such as the death of someone very close, divorce or being in the military can all be contributing factors that worsen anxiety.
Most of us get a little nervours when asked to do something out of our comfort zone but an axiety attack is not the same. When an anxiety attack hits you feel like you are seriously going to die. Before someone has definitively been diagnosed with this disorder they will have often times visited the emergency room on several occasions thinking they have a heart condition.
It is imperative to see a doctor to get the testing necessary if you suspect you have an axiety disorder. Until you find a way to stop anxiety attacks, either with therapy or with medication, you will not be able to function at work, at home or in personal relationships.
