Guaranteed The Simplest Vision Exercise To Rebuild Your Vision
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010    Subscribe To Our FeedThere are a lot of vision exercises out there that you could attempt to sharpen your eyesight. A number of them are definitely good, some are only alright, and others are only a waste of time. How do you distinguish which is which?
That is my puzzle two years ago. Ever since then, I’ve deliberately tried every the vision exercises I am aware of and recorded my progress. How do they fare? My conclusion surprised me.
20% of the vision therapy I tried was liable for 80% of my progress. I took note of these eye exercises and category them as what I called “the basics”. These eye exercises, I think, are the foundation of every vision improvement program.
In this post, I’d like to reveal one of these eye exercises. It’s called “palming”. It may sound too straight-forward but trust me, it works. It works like the following:
Make sure you are sitting down for this eye exercises. Close your eyes and gently put your palms on them, so that you cannot see light. Imagine the tense in your neck and shoulders are dissipating. Imagine anything that relaxes you. It could be anything. A beautiful beach? A small garden surrounded by big field of sunflowers, perhaps.
When you palm, make sure you arrange a countdown timer so that you won’t worry how long you’ve been doing it. Palm for a whole 10 minutes, three times a day. Once when you wake up in the crack of dawn, once during your recess from work and once simply prior to you go to bed.
Palming in the morning allows you to insert an expectation for the rest of the day. The one in the middle of the day allows your eyes to relax and regulate stress. While the one at night rest your eyes and prepares it for sleep.
